Who will you serve and believe?

Rev. David N. Hughes • Spiritual Warfare
Is Islam the true religion that all the people of the world must embrace? Is Christianity and what the Bible teaches true? Is the Bible really the word of God?

The Holy Qur'an is the "bible" of Islam. On almost every page there is a challenge to what is written in the Bible. The Qur'an and the Bible are so opposed to one another that both cannot represent the words and thoughts of one God.

The scholars of Islam teach that the revelation found in the Holy Qur'an was given to the prophet Muhammad by an angel who is called Gabriel.

It depending on which book you believe, the Qur'an or the Bible, that God will have the authority over your life choices.

In the Bible there are two people that settled the question of who they would follow, and what they would believe, when they were presented with a choice, to follow another god, or believe another gospel. They were Joshua who God used to bring His chosen people into the land that He had promised them, and the Apostle Paul who wrote the epistle's to the churches which are found in the Bible.

Joshua writes:

Now therefore, fear the Lord sever Him in sincerity and in truth and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the river and in Egypt, serve the Lord!

And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve...

But has for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:14-15

Paul writes:

But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.

As we have said before, so now I say again. If anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:8-9
